Chattogram Bureau : ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, former acting president of Chattogram North District Awami League and MP from Raozan constituency has become a member of the sub-committee on science and technology of Bangladesh Awami League. The information came from a letter of the approved committee signed by Transport and Bridges Minister and Bangladesh Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Saturday. ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP is also assigned as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Railways. According to locals, he has turned Raozan Upazila into a stronghold of Awami League through various activities including construction of permanent multi-storied offices of Awami League in Raozan Upazila, Poursava and 14 Union Parishads, , installation of 100 murals of the father of the nation in Mujib Year, construction of houses for 54 homeless families with his own funds. ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP said, it is a matter of pride for me to become member of the sub-committee of Awami League. I will try to fulfill my responsibilities with devotion. Apart from the leaders and workers of the party, the leaders of various organizations have congratulated him for getting a place in this esteemed committee.
