Marcel-BSPA Sports Carnival kicks-off on October 27

The Marcel-BSPA Sports Carnival kicks-off on October 27 at Shaheed Tajuddin Indoor Stadium in Paltan Ground. Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) will arrange the sports carnival with the financial assistance of Walton Group.
Executive Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn will inaugurate the carnival as the chief guest.
Regarding the sports carnival, a press conference was held at the conference room in the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday. General Secretary of BSPA Sudipta Ahmed Ananda, Executive Director of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Senior Vice-President of BSPA Porag Arman, Chairman of the sub-committee of the carnival Kazi Shahidul Alam, Member-Secretary of the sub-committee of the carnival Rashida Afzalunnesa were present at the conference.
Around 100 members of BSPA will compete in the sports carnival. The participants will take part in the nine events. The events are: Carrom singles, carrom doubles, table tennis singles, table tennis doubles, badminton singles, badminton doubles, chess, shooting and archery. All the events will be held at the Bangabndhu National Stadium and its adjoining area.
The prize-giving ceremony will be held at Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on November 7.
