BSS, Dhaka : The customs intelligences on Friday seized 68 gold bars weighing around 7.88 kilograms worth about Taka 4.73 crore by searching a flight from Abu Dabhi at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) here. Director General of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) Muhammad Mubinul Kabir told BSS on Friday that being informed, the officials of custom intelligence conducted a search at the Flight No. BG-028 from Abu Dhabi and seized the gold. The seized gold has been dealt with under the Customs Act and preparations are underway to file a criminal case in this regard.
