Staff Reporter : Former state minister and BNP leader AKM Mosharraf Hossain died at a private hospital in Dhaka on Saturday. He breathed his last around 8:31pm at Labaid hospital while undergoing treatment, said the party's press wing said. Party's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep shock at his death. AKM Mosharraf Hossain had long been suffering from different ailments before being diagnosed with Covid-19 and later admitted to Lab Aid Hospital on September 29. His first namaz-e-janaza will be held on Sunday at Mymensingh Eidgah Ground after Zuhr prayer and then a second janaza will be held at Muktagachha playing ground after Asr prayers. He will be buried at family graveyard in Muktagachha of Mymensingh.
