Promising pacer Abu Jayed has tested positive for coronavirus. Abu Jayed underwent Covid-19 test on Tuesday. He got his report on Wednesday. Physician of the Bangladesh
Physician of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Dr Debashis Chowdhury said, "Pace bowler Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi has reported positive for Covid-19. He will receive treatment in isolation for Covid-19 as per guidelines and will undergo further tests in due course."
A total of 27 cricketers joined the skill camp. The BCB has arranged the skill camp marking Bangladesh Cricket team's upcoming Sri Lanka tour. Bangladesh Cricket team are scheduled to take part in a three-match Test series against Sri Lanka in the island from the last week of October. 26 cricketers out of 27 have tested negative for coronavirus. Opener Saif Hasan has tested positive of Covid-19 test. He is now doing well.
The skill camp started from September 20. Bangladesh Cricket Board has arranged the skill camp.
