Ctg candidates demand priority on recruitment in port service

Bangladesh Chatra league, a student wing of the ruling  party  has formed   a human chain to give priority to the candidates of Chattogram division  in any appointment of the port authority.The human chain was  formed in front of the port building in Saltgolla  yesterday  at noon.City BCL president Imran Ahmed Emu, general secretary Zakaria Dastagir, BCL leader Fakhrul Islam, Amitabh Babu, Kabir Ahmed and others took part in  the human chain.
Imran Ahmed Emu told the media that the port authorities had issued a notification in 2016 for the post of computer operator.
Although there was talk of appointing more than 100 posts, only 61 people have been appointed recently.
Among them, the candidates of Chattogram district and division have been neglected. We demand full recruitment of candidates for the remaining posts from  Chattogram district and division on priority basis.
He said that the people of Chattogram have given land to port for d evelopment of the   port ,. but neglected in recruitment.. We want preference for Chattogram candidates in any recruitment at the port.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, the candidates of Chattogram Division also held a human chain program at the main gate of Chattogram Port demanding to give priority to the final results of the recruitment test for the post of Computer Operator in Chittagong Port.
