Leaders and activists of BNP place floral wreaths on the grave of late Arafat Rahman Koko at Banani Graveyard in the city on Wednesday marking his 51st birth anniversary.
UNB, Dhaka : BNP paid tributes to late Arafat Rahman Koko, the younger son of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and ex-Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, on Wednesday, marking his 51st birthday. Some BNP leaders, led by its standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, placed a wreath at Koko's grave at Banani Graveyard around 10:30am on Wednesday. They also offered fateha and joined a munajat there seeking salvation of Koko's departed soul. Several hundred BNP leaders and activists gathered near the graveyard, but police allowed only some party leaders to maintain social distancing rules.
