Soumya Sarkar & female cricketers join individual training programme

Soumya Sarkar and female cricketers joined individual training programme on Monday. Soumya Sarkar took part in his individual training sessions at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur, while the female cricketers of Bangladesh Women's Cricket team participated at the different venues across the country.
Mushfiqur Rahim, Mominul Haque, Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Mithun, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Sadman Islam did batting at the indoor and did running at SBNCS and took part in their physical exercise at the gymnasium.
Shafiul Islam, Al-Amin Hossain, Aminul Islam Biplob and Taijul Islam did bowling at the indoor and at the outer. They took part in their physical exercise at the gymnasium. They did running at the SBNCS.
Shamima Sultana, Sharmin Supta did their batting at the indoor and did running at the SBNCS and took part in their physical exercise at the gymnasium.
Jahanara Alam, Nahida Akter did bowling at the indoor and at the outdoor. They did running at the SBNCS and participated in their physical exercise at the gymnasium.
Nahida Akter said, "It was really tough to hit the practice pit after almost five months. Everything appears to be new but it feels really nice to get back to the stadium after such a long time,"
"Since we practiced after a long time, it is true that it was painful. There is rustiness. Hopefully we'll overcome this rustiness very soon if we continue in such fashion," she added.
Nahid however thanked BCB for arranging such practice sessions for them. She also said the session of psychologist Ali Azhar helped them to stay mentally fit.
"We were frustrated after being confined into the room due to the coronavirus. We thought that we would never get back the skill of cricket that we had. But the psychologist gave us the mental strength by counselling us. It was a good session," she concluded.
Meanwhile, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mahadi Hasan participated in their individual training at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, the port city of the country on the same day. Salma Ahmed and Rumana Ahmed took part in their individual training at the same venue on the same day.
Abu Jayed, Ebadot Hossain, Khaled Ahmed and Nasum Ahmed participated in their practice sessions at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on the same day.
Nayeem Hasan, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Irfan Shukkur took part in their individual training programme at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, the other port city of the country on the same day.
Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Sunzamul Islam participated in their individual practice sessions at the Shaheed Qamaruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi on the same day.
Khadiza-Tul-Kubra and Sharmin Sultana joined their individual training programme at the Shaheed Chandu Shadium in Bogura on the same day.
