Cricketers resume individual training after Eid-ul-Azha

After Eid-ul-Azha the national cricketers resumed their individual training programme at the different venues across the country on Saturday. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has arranged the individual training sessions for the cricketers. The players participated their respective training sessions maintaining social distance.
A total of 11 cricketers took part in their individual training sessions at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city's Mirpur and BCB-NCA ground, which is adjacent to the SBNCS.
Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mominul Haque, Imrul Kayes, Mohammad Mithun, Sadman Islam, Sabbir Rahman did batting at the indoor, running at the SBNCS and took part in their physical exercise at the gymnasium. Shafiul Islam, Mehedi Hasan Rana, Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam did running, bowling and took part in their physical exercise at the BCB-NCA ground. It may be mentioned that Captain of Bangladesh Cricket (Test) team Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah Riyad, Sadman Islam, Sabbir Rahman and Taijul Islam joined the individual training programme for the first time. Mominul Haque said, "I think we'll get enough time to prepare us, when we'll go to play any International match. I believe we'll get enough time to practice."
He also said, "We saw cricket had already made a comeback with the likes of West Indies, England, Pakistan playing. When we watch them on television, we really miss cricket. Hopefully we'll comeback to the cricket very soon. We have Test match ahead and we are now prepared to have best preparation for that. Hopefully everything will be okay."
Meanwhile, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mahadi Hasan, Nurul Hasan Sohan took part at their individual training sessions at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Klulna on the same day.
Pacers Abu Jayed, Ebadot Hossain, Khaled Ahmed and left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed participated in their individual training programme at Sylhet International Stadium on the same day.
Nayeem Hasan, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Irfan Shukkur took part in their individual practice sessions at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Cahttogram, the port city of the country on the same day.
Nazmul Hasan Shanto and Sunzamul Islam participated in their individual training programme at the Shaheed Qamaruzzaman Stadium in Khulna, the other port city of the country on the same day.
