Fire in city slum

UNB, Dhaka :
A fire broke out at a slum in Bhashantek area of Dhaka on Thursday evening.
Fire Service and Civil Defence sources, said the fire originated at Dhamalkot slum around 6:40pm and spread rapidly.
On information, 10 fire fighting units rushed there and doused the blaze around 8:20pm.
The cause of the fire and extent of damage are yet to be ascertained, he added.
