Death jumps to 5,68,314 globally

Death from coronavirus jumped to 5,68,314 with total cases 1,28,72,655 while recovered 75,02,178 as of Sunday morning, according to the latest report of worldometer.
The hard-hit United States reported deaths linked to the virus have been reached 1,37,414 with total cases 33,56,242.
Brazil, the second-worst hit, country counted 71,492 deaths and recorded 18,40,812 confirmed cases.
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro announced on Tuesday that he has tested positive for the virus.
India, the country with the third highest number of infections, is battling
with more than 20,000 new cases each day.
The confirmed coronavirus cases in the country reached 8,54,480 while the death 22,718 till Sunday.
In terms of confirmed coronavirus cases, Russia, which is now in the fourth position, has recorded 7,27,162 confirmed cases from coronavirus, with 11,335 patients having died from the disease. Meanwhile, the government of Russia expects that the country will have at least three or four effective vaccines for the coronavirus.
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko made the disclosure in a televised interview on the Russian channel Rossiya'24 on Thursday, reports news agency Tass.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
