4th Sylhet Film Festival kicks off today

The fourth edition of Sylhet Film Festival will kick off today with a motive to encourage independent filmmaking. The festival will be a 10-day long event and will end on July 15. Sylhet Agricultural University Film Society (SAUFS) organises ‘Sylhet Film Festival’ since 2017.
To avoid the spreading of COVID-19 and to maintain social distance, they will host this fourth edition of the festival virtually. Professor Dr Md Matiar Rahman Howlader, Vice Chancellor of Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU),
noted filmmaker Morshedul Islam and
director of the Students Counseling and
Guidance Prof Dr Mithu Chowdhury will take part in the inaugural ceremony.
