SLICL gets new CEO

Mir Rashed bin Aman has taken over as the new CEO of Sonali Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL). He replaces former CEO Ajit Chandra. He took over the responsibility at a simple ceremony at the Imperial Convention Center at Sonali Life Insurance's head office in the city recently. Mir Rashed bin Aman, a graduate of the Australian University of Technology, has been Sonali Life's First Deputy Managing Director and later Additional Managing Director and CFO since 2013, according to a press release.
He has worked for the world-famous financial institution American Express Bank. Mir Rashed has a huge contribution to make Sonali Life Insurance Limited as the first and complete It-based life insurance company of the fourth generation.
Under his leadership, a bunch of talented young people worked hard for a long time to build the most advanced ERP or `Enterprise Resource Planning System.'
