Road transport operations to resume from June 1

Operations of road transport, following all health guidelines, will resume from June 1.
Road Transport and Highway Division Secretary Nazrul Islam came up with the information after a meeting with transport leaders and other stakeholders at Bangladesh Road
Transport Authority headquarters in Dhaka. A committee will hold a meeting tomorrow to decide on new fares, he said.
The operation of road transport came to a halt across the country after the government announced closure of all offices and schools from March 26 in a bid to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
