Birth centenary of Bangabandhu celebrated at Parents Care School

The portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was garlanded with flowers by the members of the Managing Committee and teachers of Parents Care School and College in the Port City marking the birth centenary of Bangaban

The birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman  was celebrated by Parents Care School & College in the port city in a befitting manner . The daylong programs of the birth centenary includes presentation of bouquest at the portrait of Bangabandhu, jubilant rally, discussion meeting, Doa mahfil and cultural events at school premises.
The  teachers and officials of the school led by its Chairman Principal Dr.Abdul Karim pay homage to Bangabandhu by placing bouquet in Bangabandu's portrait .
A jubilant rally was brought   out from school premises led by its  Principal  Prof.Dr.Jaharlal Bhattachariya and Admin officer Dr.MA Fazal at 9.30 am.Discussions on Bangabandhu and doa mahfil was held at the auditorium of Chattogam Shikka Kaylan Foundation with Prof.Dr.Jaharlal Bhattachariya in the chair duly graced by the noted educationist and  CSKP Chairman  Principal Dr.Abdul Karim  as chief guest.
The chief guest urges all  to extend cooperations to the present govt led by Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for fulfilling the dreams  of  Sonar Bangla of Bangabandhu.
He also prayed to the almighty Allah to save the people of Bangladesh from  deadly Coronavirus and prayed long life  of the Prime Minister. Finally offered munajat for the well being of the nation and the country.
Social programmes ban: Chattogram Metro  and  district police authorities  have banned all  social gatherings in clubs and community centres for an indefinite period in a bid to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
 On Thursday, the Chattogram Metropolitan Police asked the owners of clubs and community centres not to accept any booking for any social event .The directive will also be applicable to the hotels that rent out their venues to host social events, Additional Deputy Commissioner Abu Bakkar Siddique told
 Earlier, CMP banned any gathering at Patenga beach, Foy's Lake and Jamburi Park in the city that pull in a lot of visitors.
Police have taken this initiative after images went viral on social media, showing a large number of people are gathering at Patenga beach. It happened at a time when the government is advising people to avoid public gatherings to curb the risk of coronavirus spreading.
Police also put up banners, handed out leaflets and made announcements over loud speakers to raise awareness about avoiding public gatherings. Apart from that, tourist spots in Chattogram district were also shut down.
