India will be celebrating its 70th republic day and it’s an extremely auspicious occasion for us. In 26th January 1950, the constitution came into power and became the largest democracy in the world. Shama Sikander has her thoughts and plans set for this day and let’s go through it. Shama on this occasion says, “Firstly I would like to wish the entire nation a very happy republic day. This day is extremely important as this stands for unity in India as we are the largest democracy in the world. I would urge everyone to participate in this and be a part of a flag hoisting ceremony. India needs to know and read of their glorious past, the army which fought several battles and of course how we became a secular democratic.â€
