Family visit to Khaleda cancelled

Dhaka Central Jail has cancelled the permission to the family members of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to visit her on Saturday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital around 3 pm on Saturday, said its Chairperson's press wing member Shamsuddin Didar.
He said, family members were scheduled to meet Khaleda Zia. But the prison authorities canceled family members' visit to Khaleda Zia. The visit has been rescheduled to be held again at 3 pm on December 16."
Family members last met her on November 13.
On February 8 of 2018, a Dhaka court sentenced Khaleda Zia to five years imprisonment in Zia Orphanage Trust case. She has been undergoing treatment at BSMMU since April 1.
