City Desk : Assistant Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshal (Administration) AKM Ahsanul Haque handed over a cheque for Taka 50 lakh to the authority of Birshreshtha Matiur Nagar College recently for its development. During the cheque handing ceremony, senior BAF officials and authorities of the college were present on the college premises, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release. The college was named after Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman, a recipient of 'Birshreshtha', Bangladesh's highest military gallantry award for his utmost bravery during the Liberation War.
