BD becomes role model of dev: Jabbar

Minister for Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Mustafa Jabbar said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has now become most successful and admired leader across the world for her extra-ordinary, dynamic and talented leadership with high human qualities.  The minister said Bangladesh is no more bottomless- basket, it is now a digital country, its economy is revolving towards prosperity and the per capita income of the country's people is increasing day by day.
" The country has now become as role model of development in the world under the dynamic, talented and far-sighted leadership of the prime minister Sheikh Hasina" he said
The minister said this on Monday while speaking as the chief guest at a function held to mark handing over of the acquired lands for Sheikh Hasina Public University by
Netrakona district administration at the conference room of the Deputy
Commissioner's office, Netrakona .Nearly 500 acres of land were brought under acquisition in the Singher Bangla union under Netrakona sader upazila by the district administration for setting up the university.Waresat Hussain Belal (Bir Prathik ) MP and Secretary of the Prime Minister's office Sazzadul Hasan addressed the function as special guests while Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Rafiquallah Khan in the chair .
The function was addressed, among others, by Deputy Commissioner Netrakona Main-UL-Islam, Chairman of Netrakona Zila Parishad Prasanta Kumar Ray, Superintendent of Police Netrakona Akber Ali Munshi , Mayor of Netrakona municipality Nazrul Islam Khan and President of Awami League Netrakona district unit Motitur Rahman Khan.
Later, the minister formally inaugurated an Innovation and Training Center styled 'Sapnochura' at Netrakona DC office.
