With the call for using safe internet, Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar said the guardians should be aware of ensuring secure internet for their children rather stopping it. "The Internet is a treasure of knowledge. The talent of our children is a great force for Bangladesh. We need to ensure safe internet for children to face new challenges in the days to come," he said. The minister made the call on Friday while addressing a prize distribution programme at the National Library Auditorium in the capital marking the Greater Mymensingh inter-district cultural competition under the arrangement of the 'Greater Mymensingh Cultural Forum' (GMCF). Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University Vice-Chancellor Professor AHM Mustafizur Rahman, Shipping Secretary Md. Abdus Salam and GMCF General Secretary Rashedul Hassan Shellly also spoke on the occasion.
