International year calendar to celebrate 'Mujib Year'

The government is preparing an international year calendar chalking different programmes to organize across the globe for celebrating the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Muzibur Rahman next year, declared as 'Mujib Year'.
The international programme and communication sub-committee of the birth centenary celebration is working on formulating the international calendar that will start from the date of Bangabandhu's 100 birth anniversary on March 17, 2020 and to be ended on March 2021.
This was revealed recently while Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen presided over the third meeting of the sub-committee at International Mother Language Institute in the capital, a press release said.
The committee is also working on inviting heads of states and governments of different countries, global political leaders and international renowned figures to attend the celebration programme.
