Expectant mother, minor daughter killed in Tangail

A pregnant woman and her minor daughter were killed by some unidentified miscreants at Bhalukkandi under Tangail municipality on Saturday midnight.
The deceased were identified as Lucky Begum, 22, wife of one Al Amin, and her four-year old daughter Alifa. Lucky was pregnant for seven months.
Local and relative sources said that lucky's husband Al Amin, has a Phone-Fax shop beside the house in the district town,.
After returning to the house at midnight, he found his wife and daughter lying dead. After his screaming neighbors rushed to the spot. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Tangail General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Mir Mosharraf Hossain, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar Model Police Station said  "we are still in confusion regarding the twin murder".
None was arrested in this connection yet, OC added.
