Bangladesh Under-15 Women's Football team beat hosts Bhutan Under-15 Women's Football team by two goals to nil in their first match of the SAFF Under-15 Women's Championship at Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan on Wednesday.
All the two goals were scored in the first half.
Shaheda Akhter put his team ahead by a forceful shot using a pass of her teammate Rehana Akhter in the 20th minute of the play.
Rejina Akhter sealed the fate (2-0) of the match by an angular shot in the 30th minute of the game.
After that, Bangladesh got a good number of chances, but failed to increase the tally due to failure of the strikers.
Shaheda and Rejina came close to score in the 33rd and 57th minute respectively.
Bangladesh will face Nepal in their second match tomorrow.
