The 14th edition of National Children’s Theatre and Cultural Festival 2019 featuring performances by child theatre artistes is going on at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital’s Segunbagicha area.
The nine-day festival has been jointly organised by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) and People's Theatre Association (PTA) where a total of 10,000 children from 95 children theatre troupes from across the country are participating every day at eight venues of BSA from 20 to 28 September.

Mustafa Monowar said, “Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy was established by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Having a sense of aesthetics is essential for human beings, which is transmitted through the practice of art. Without the development of the mind a person cannot be progressive.”
