Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mahajote

A rally organised by Bangladesh Jatiya Hindu Mahajote was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Friday. In the programme the leaders of the organisation strongly protested vandalizing of the idols in different places of the country. They urged the government and other authority concerned to take necessary steps to ensure adequate security for the religious minorities as if they can perform their religious rituals without any hindrance. The function was addressed, among others, by Executive President of the mahajote Sudhangsu Chandra Biswas, its Executive Secretary General Palash Kanti Dey, Vice-President Provash Chandra Mondal, Freedom Fighter Ranjit Mridha and its Joint Secretary General Samir Sarker. President of the organisation Dr Provash Chandra Roy presided over the event.
