DU 'A' unit admission

49 students to vie for each seat

The admission test of 'A' unit of Dhaka University (DU) for the first-year undergraduate programme will be held today  under the Faculty of Science for the academic year of 2019-2020.
The admission test will be held in 86 centers including the Dhaka University campus from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, confirmed a DU press release on Thursday.
This year 88,955 students will fight for 1795 seats in the Faculty of Science.That means some forty-nine students will fight for each seat.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Prof Muhammad Samad, Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin, Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof Tofayel Ahmed Chowdhury and others will visit the exam centers, the press release added.
The seat plan for the examination will be available on Dhaka University's website, admission.eis.du.ac.bd .
Mobile phone or any electronic device that can communicate is prohibited in the examination hall.
