Workshop on LES machinery concludes at BUET

Prof Dr Saiful Islam, Vice-Chancellor, BUET handes over certificates among the participants of a 3 day long training course on 'Re-Engineering and Upgradation of Machinery in Light Engineering Industries Sector' at IAT seminar room on Monday.

The closing and certificate awarding ceremony of a 3 day long training workshop titled "Re-Engineering and Upgradation of Machinery in Light Engineering Sector (LES)" was held on Monday at the Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).  
The workshop was organized by the IAT, BUET and sponsored by Light Engineering Business Promotion Council (LEBPC), Ministry of Commerce, GOB. Participants of workshop were Entrepreneurs, Owners, Engineers, Technologists and Managers from various engineering industries and enterprises of the country.
Teachers of different departments of BUET as well as experts from public and private organizations were the resource persons of the workshop.
Prof Dr Saiful Islam, Vice-Chancellor of BUET was present as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants. The closing session was chaired by Prof Dr Mohammad Arif Hasan Mamun, Director, Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT), BUET.
