These photographs were captured during the Rohingya influx in Bangladesh.
Now Rohingya issue is not only a problem of Bangladesh but also an international issue which must be solved with the help of the global community. This book would be preserved as a document of the horrific historic moment of mankind when thousands of Rohingyas fled to Bangladesh due to the atrocities, gross violation of human rights, crimes against humanity and staggering brutality of the Myanmar security forces against ethnic Rohingya Muslims. In this book, Sanaul tried to portray these issues nicely. There are a total of 128 photographs including colour and black and white taken by Sanaul Haque took place in this book which will surely attract the readers and also photographers. According to the photographer, “I have tried to capture the touchy moments of civilization and humanity in my book.”
Born in July 6, 1970 in Dhaka, Sanaul worked in several local newspapers including daily Dinkal, The Independent, daily Janakantha and New Age. He left New Age as its chief photojournalist in April 2018 to peruse other ambitions.
During his career as freelance photographer and journalist spanning over two-and-half decades, Sanaul gained a lot of experiences in this field which enriched his works. His experiences include covering the exodus of Rohingya refugees from Myanmar to Bangladesh in 2017, a crisis that drew the attention globally.
Father of two loving kids, Sanaul also covered many sporting events including cricket World Cups and host of bilateral series involving Bangladesh national cricket team.
Sanaul has dedicated the book to his mother Jahanara Begum. We wish overall success of Sanaul and his book.
