JS committee discusses on ministries project outcome

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Planning at its fourth meeting discussed the progress and implementation on projects under different ministries.
The committee elaborately discussed on implementation and progress of the projects run by different ministries for 2018-2019 fiscal years, according to a press release here on Wednesday.
Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) are being implemented a total of 16 projects under the Planning Ministry, it said. The activities of the Environment, climate change and disaster statistics strengthening project has begun on September 1, 2019, the meeting was told.
With standing committee chairman Abul Kalam Azad in the chair, the meeting was also attended, among others, by Planning Minister MA Mannan, Major (retd) Rafiqul Islam, Hafiz Ahmed Majumder, Biren Sikder, Rawshan Ara Mannan, Manjur Hossen and Adiba Anjum Nur.
