1 lakh Yaba seized in C'Bazar

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered one lakh and 10,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar on Friday night. But, no one was detained.
"A BGB team raided just the moment when a shipment of yaba pills was about to smuggled into Bangladesh through Tailordwip of Naf River from Myanmar.
Sensing BGB team's presence, smugglers left behind a bag and dived into the river, fleeing across the jungle," said Teknaf-2 BGB captain Lt. Colonel Mohammad Faisal Hasan Khan.
