ACC director's wife sets herself on fire, dies

Tania Ishrat (40), the wife of an Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) official died in a city hospital in Dhaka on Thursday, a day after she allegedly set herself on fire.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Assistant Commissioner (Airport Zone) Khondokar Rezaul Hasan said that the incident took place at Dhaka's Uttara on Wednesday.
Quoting Tania's family members and husband Md Yusuf, police said that she committed suicide by
 torching herself in their house at Uttara's Sector-6.
So, the deceased's family does not have any complaint against anybody regarding the incident, the police official said
She was immediately taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH), where she breathed her last on Thursday, Rezaul Hasan said.
Her body had been sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy.
Rezaul said, "We are still investigating the matter to find out whether she committed suicide or not."
