Sheikh Arif Bulbon : Sightsavers is an international non-governmental organisation that works with partners in developing countries to treat and prevent avoidable blindness. It was established by Sir John Wilson, who was also a blind, in 1950. In Bangladesh, this organisation is being worked since 1973. As a part of its activities, a programme of the organisation is scheduled to be held at National Press Club on September 15 where film actress Adhora Khan will be present as the special guest, said Monitoring Coordinator of the organisation Konika Dey. While talking about getting invitation to be present at the programme of an INGO as the special guest actress Adhora Khan told this correspondent, â€œI have started acting in movie few days ago. But within short days I got huge love from the film-lovers which impressed me a lot. It is really a great luck for me to get the opportunity to be present as the special guest at a programme of an INGO like Sightsavers. I will always with this organisation and its activities. In Bangladesh, Sightsavers is working in 16 disctricts.â€ Adhora also informed that from October 2 she is going to start shooting of her new movie. At the end of last year Adhora-starred two movies were released. These were: Shahin Sumonâ€™s Matal and Ispahani Arif Jahanâ€™s Nayok. She will also work in Shahin Sumonâ€™s movie Bokhatey and Ispahani Arif Jahanâ€™s Sundoritoma. Hailed from Sokhipur of Shariatpur, Adhoraâ€™s mother is her inspiration in acting, according to the actress.
