Ganer Kobi Praner Kobi Nazrul, Dhaka, a literary cultural organization, has published a booklet â€˜The Rebelâ€™ on 21st June 2019 on the occasion of awarding prize to Anis Fatema, for her translation of Bidrohi, the unique, unparalleled Poem of Kazi Nazrul Islam, the National Poet of Bangladesh. The translation of the poem was published in the New Nation in the Supplement on the Birth Anniversary of the Poet on 25th May 2019/11 Joishtho 1426 BS.
The Rebel is a poem, which was a challenge to imperialism, oppression and injustice and it appears to be the mightiest voice in the world of literature against inhuman aggression, suppression and injustice .
The book, in addition to poem, â€˜The Rebel,â€™ includes three articles evaluating the message of the poem and its translation. These are : Kazi Nazrul Islam : The Great Rebel by Professor Anwarul Karim PhD, Kazi Nazrul Islam : The Rebel for the â€˜Honour of Humanityâ€™ by Abdul Muqit Chowdhury and Kazi Nazrul Islam :The Pioneer Rebel of all ages by Anis Fatema.
