70 DAGs appointed

The government on Sunday appointed 70 lawyers of the Supreme Court in the posts of Deputy Attorney Generals (DAGs) under the Section 3(2) of The Bangladesh Law Officers Order, 1972.
The Law Ministry issued a notification yesterday in the website of the Ministry in this regard.
Among the 70 DAGs, 31 were appointed from the fresher lawyers, 32 were reappointed and 7 were promoted from the posts of Assistant Attorney Generals.
The appointment of the new DAGs will be effective without any delay, the notification also said.Newly appointed 31 DAGs are--- S M Nazrul Islam, Md Mozammel Haque Rana, Barrister Kazi Mainul Hasan, Md Saifuddin Khaled, Md Assaduzzaman Monir, Md Abdul Jalil Miah, Md Taherul Islam, Md Shafiqul Islam Siddiq, Amit Das Gupta, B M Abdur Rafel, Tusar Kanti Roy, Mohammad Abul Hashem, S M Ashraful Haque, Debashis Bhattacharya, Abu Iahia Dulal, S M Fazlul Haque, Md Gias Uddin Ahmed, Sujit Chatterjee Bappy, Barrister Nowroj Mohammad Russel Chowdhury, Shaheen Ahmed Khan, Bipul Bagmar, Barrister Mohammad Nur-us Sadik, Barrister Wares Al Harun, Md Sarwar Hossain, Md Monirul Islam, Md Mushfiqur Rahman Sabuj, Harunur Rashid, Abdul Wahab, Kazi Shahinara, Nasima K Hakim and Shahida Khatun.
32 reappointed DAGs are--- Anwara Shahjahan, Shree Biswajit Debnath, K M Zahid Sarwar Kazal, Amit Talukder, Barrister Kazi Zinat Haque, Dr Md Bashirullah, Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Begum Khaleda Bijli, Jesmine Sultana Samsad, Bashir Ahmed, Sheikh Saifuzzaman, Protiker Chakma, Yesmin Begum Bithi, Taifur Kabir, Samarendra Nath Biswas, Md Ashek Momin, Md Aminur Rahman Chowdhury Tiku, Md Mohiuddin Dewan, Sheikh Sirajul Islam, S M Golam Mostofa, Md Anamul Hoque Mollah, Apurbo Kumar Bhattacharya, A K M Aminuddin Manik, Barrister A K M Abdullah Al Mahmud Bashar, Md Aminul Islam, Kazi Ebadot Hossain, Rahima Khatun, Emran Ahmed Bhuiyan, Aurobinda Kumar Roy, M D Rezaul Karim, Md Fazlur Rahman Khan and Nusrat Jahan.
7 DAGs who were promoted from the posts of Assistant Attorney Generals are--- Ambia Bulbul Reza, Samira Tarannum Rabeya, Jannatul Ferdousi Rupa, Mahfuza Begum, K M Masud Rumie, Md Insan Uddin Sheikh and Md Jahangir Alam.
