Youth lynched for carrying slit-head of boy inside bag

An alleged drug addicted youth was beaten to death by angry mob while fleeing with the slit-head of a 10-year old boy inside a bag at Newtown in Netrakona district town on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased boy has been identified as Sajeeb Uddin, son of Rois Uddin, an habitant of Katli area in the town.
The beheaded abandoned body of the boy was found in a three-story underconstrcution building near Katli area, said Tajul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of  Netrakona Sadar Police Station.
Police also recovered the body of the killer. He was identified as Rabin Islam, a rickshaw-puller. Rabin was son of Ekhlas Uddin, a neighbour of  the deceased boy.  
Ashraful Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police, said that Rabin was drug addicted.
We are investigating the incident, the police official said.
