Another suspect Rishan Farazi held

UNB, Barguna :
Police on Thursday announced the arrest of another suspect accused of murdering a youth in broad daylight in the district town last month.
Maruf Hossain, superintendent of Barguna police, said they arrested Rishan Farazi around 10:15am.
He declined to divulge details.
Rifat, 22, was attacked with sharp weapons near the main gate of Barguna Government College. His wife Aysha Siddika Minni appeared to be trying to protect him during the broad daylight attack caught on surveillance camera.
Police arrested Minni on Tuesday night after a daylong interrogation. A court granted police five days to interrogate her in custody.
Apart from Minni, 13 suspects have so far been arrested. Seven of them have reportedly confessed to their involvement in the murder.

Ershad Hossain, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence Central Control Room, said the fire originated at a shanty of Chalantika Slum on the west side of Al Arabia Mosque around 7:20pm and it engulfed the adjoining ones. On information, 19 firefighting units rushed in to douse the blaze, he said. However, the firefighters could not bring the fire under control till filing of this report around 10:45pm.
