GTF to promote financial facilities for emerging sectors: BUILD

Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD), a platform for fact-based and research-backed dialogue and advocacy, has said the Green Transformation Fund (GTF) will promote concessional financial facilities for new and emerging sectors in addition to leather and jute.
"GTF has been a highly favorable loan facility to promote green growth in Bangladesh that was created by the Bangladesh Bank in 2016," said BUILD in a press release issued on Thursday.
Foreign Exchange Policy Department of the Bangladesh Bank has published a circular on June 16, 2019 to allow all export-oriented industrial sectors to avail of financing from the GTF established by the central bank
