International Social Business Summer Program (ISBSP) 2019, the only summer program in Bangladesh dedicated to Social Business started its 3rd journey on Friday at the green campus of Daffodil International University (DIU) at Ashulia in the city.
Around 50 participants from 11 different countries including China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Jordan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Somalia, South Korea, and Bangladesh have attended the opening ceremony.
Prof Dr Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU inaugurated the ISBSP 2019 along with other guests Prof Dr SM Mahbubul Haque Majumder, Pro Vice Chancellor of DIU, Prof Dr Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Dean, FBE and Prof Dr Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, International Affairs of DIU. Few Participants also shared their expectations in the ceremony.
The academic activities of the day started with a Brainstorming Session on Social Problems conducted by Vice Chancellor of DIU.  The 10 days summer program will continue till 22 July with loads of activities to come.
