Four robbers held, arms, goods recovered in Jashore

Police claimed to hold 4 robbers and recovered looted goods, money and arms used by the robbers on early Thursday, Mainul Haque, superintendent of police, Jashore said newsmen at a press briefing at his office on Thursday noon.
The SP informed that after a series of robbery at Rajapur, Chanpatala and Barni village under Jhikargachha upazila in the district, the police detained  Laltu,38, son of Gopal Mandal of Manikdi village under Kotchandpur upazila in Jhehidah,
Abu Bakr,38, son of Balai Mandal of Keshab Chakbodon village under Natore sadar upazila, Mohsin, 53, son of Hashem Bangal of Bhaturia under Jashore Kotwali police station and Shahin,23, son of Moslem Sarder of Barenga village under Keshabpur upazila in Jashore, early Thursday.
'Raiding several places the police recovered three mobile phones and three sharp weapons used by the robbers and looted goods including Tk 19,390, a mobile phone and a pair of gold rings used on hands,' he added.
A case was lodged with Jhikargachha police station in this connection, the SP added.
