  • Print
Gazi Md. Abdur Rashid :
Technology refers to the use of scientific or any other relevant knowledge in a systematic way. In another sense technology means systematic application of scientific or other organized knowledge to practical tasks. There are two aspects of modern technology based framework- process and production. Again, in modern times, we are looking at the use of hardware and software technology popularly in the classroom activities.
Modern education science has emphasized the use of visual and auditory objects in teaching. These materials such as chalk boards, bulletin boards, flannel boards, chart, posters, cartoon, maps, spheres, films, photographs, models, epidiascope, radio, television, overhead projectors (OHP), multimedia projector and Computer etc.
The need to use education technology in teaching learning method: 1. Using technology, read the same textbook and bind the students from learning in traditional methods from being bound in the same class, 2. By bringing diversity using modern education technology in teaching learning system, classroom performances must be students centered and more focusing, 3. Give the student the imagination, thinking and creative activities with a delightful environment 4. Seeing, listening and working in your own hands, is better than reading your memories. The learning that is more and more of the stability through pleasure and affection, 5. Knowledge of unknown know-how is that the world of student experience expands and knowledge of infection is normal and effective, 6. In the face of the usual demand of the student, the cherished, amicable and cheerful changes in his conduct, 7. Curiosity for learning (motivation) and immediate preparations (readiness) are attributed to the attention of the learner and the opinion of the awakening.
Depending on the proper use of educational technology, thinking ability of the students like affective, cognitive and psychomotor domain works significantly and promotes the desire for getting an outstanding result. In fact, technology has no magic of its own; the true magician's good-natured and subtle artistic technology has become hideous and has a magical effect on the student's natural fascination. Thus, the teacher needs to take full plans in the quality of artistic skill.
It will be very useful for students to study the psychological development phase, the nature of the subject, the education environment, and the quality of the technology and compatibility of the modern science. Learning has the potential to improve educational productivity by accelerating the rate of learning, taking advantage of learning-time outside of school hours, reducing the cost of instructional materials, and better utilizing teacher-time. in the above circumstances, with the help of using modern technology in the teaching learning system we can make sure the student`s productivity and produce the modern technology based generation.
