Jeweller's throat-slit body found in Chattogram

The throat-slit body of a jeweller was recovered from his own shop at Bandartila in the city here on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Sanjoy Dhor, 46, of Ramu upazila in Cox's Bazar.
Chattogram Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mir Nurul Huda said on information that bad odor coming out from Monishree Jewellery shop in Bandartila area, police went to the spot and recovered the decomposed body.
Jhorna Dhar, cousin of the deceased, said Sanjoy remained missing since Friday night.
The body was sent to Chattoram Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
