5 DU students get Mustafizur-Saleha memorial scholarship

Five meritorious students of the Department of Banking and Insurance and Department of Women and Gender Studies of Dhaka University (DU) were awarded with 'Mustafizur Rahman Khan-Saleha Khanam' memorial scholarship for securing the highest CGPA in honours final examination in 2018.
The recipients are- Shuvo Costa, Al-Hasan and Mita Rani Das of the Department of Banking and Insurance and Nawshin Tabassum and Md. Atiqur Rahman of the Department of Women and Gender Studies.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman distributed these scholarships among the recipients as chief guest at a function held recently at the VC's lounge of the university.
Donor of both the trust funds Prof. Mahfuza Khanam, Treasurer of the university Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Sadeka Halim, Chairman of the Department of Physics Prof. Dr. Abdus Sattar, Chairperson of the Department of Law Prof. Dr. Naima Huq, Chairperson of the Department of Women and Gender Studies Dr. Sanzida Akhter, Chairman of the Department of Banking and Insurance Prof. Md. Abu Taleb and Registrar Md. Enamuzzaman were present on the occasion.
