Another accused of Nusrat murder held from Rangamati

Police have made another arrest over the murder of Feni madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi, taking the number of arrestees in the case to 18.
The latest arrestee, Iftekhar Uddin Rana, 21, is one of the suspected plotters of the fatal arson attack on Nusrat, Additional Superintendent of Police Md Moin Uddin told bdnews24.com.
The law enforcers arrested Rana in Rangamati town's T&T Residential Area early on Saturday morning, the Police Bureau of Investigation official said.

Lutfar Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Rampal Police Station, said the girl, hailing from Naogaon district and a class II student, used to live at madrasa dormitory. Ferdous entered into the madrasa in the night of April 11 and violated the girl. Later in the day, the victim girl shared the incident with her classmates, but the madrasa principal and hostel super tried to cover up the incident.
Following the incident, the girl's uncle filed a case against four people on Friday afternoon mentioning Ferdous as the prime accused.
Besides, Oliur Rahman, his wife and the hostel super were also made accused as they tried to conceal the incident. Meanwhile, the girl was sent to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital on Saturday for medical test.
