Control the misuse of gas
I think, the increase of gas price will never be accepted by the people without taking long-term plan to control the irregularities of the gas companies when widespread corruption along with illegal connections has made the sector overburdened.
Apparently, the people are using the gas in a double price.  People cannot cook due to dearth of gas almost every day but they have to pay the price.  When there is no household gas connection in the district and upazila levels, the people are forced to buy gas cylinders at higher prices.
It is clear that, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission only cuts public pockets. Due to the increase in gas price, the prices of almost all used items are increased automatically. I do urge the government to take necessary initiatives to enrich the gas sector without increasing its price.
