Remarks on Lib War

Jatiyatabadi Cyber Dal chief held

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the President of the Jatiyatabadi Cyber Dal for making derogatory remark about the Liberation War and spreading anti-state propaganda and rumour on social media recently.
The arrested man has been identified as Ashek Ahmed, 40, President of Cyber and Security Dal.
Lt Colonel Emranul Hasan, Commanding Officer (CO) of RAB-3, said this at a press conference at its Media Center in the city's Kawranbazar on
Monday Morning.  Tipped off, the elite force in a drive arrested him from Tejgaon area in Dhaka around 11:00pm on Sunday, the RAB official said.   
He said, "Ashek posted controversial remarks on the number of martyrs of the Liberation War and spread propaganda against the spirit of Liberation War. By this he defamed the country's Liberation War and showed no respect to Liberation War martyrs."
A case was filed against him with the Tajgaon Police Station, the CO said.
