Inter-University Math Olympiad at EWU

Campus Report :
East West University (EWU) organized the Inter-University Math-Olympiad 2019 with the participation of around 250 students of 22 universities and seven (07) schools in the country. The event held on Saturday at the EWU campus, Aftabnagar in the capital. The competition was organized by the university's Science Club, for the sixth time. Syed Manzur Elahi, Chairperson (In-charge) of the Board of Trustee, EWU and Adviser to the former caretaker government, Bangladesh inaugurated the competition.
After the day-long competition, a prize-giving ceremony also held at the university. Prizes were distributed among the winning students in the competition. Professor Dr.  Fakrul Alam, Vice-Chancellor  of EWU, Dr. Anindita Pal and Amit Kumar Das, Moderators of EWU Science Club and other members of the club were present on the occasion.
The winners of the competition are followings:
University Section-
1st - Kafil Ibna Kamal (University of Dhaka)
2nd - Ashraful Al Shakur (BUET)
3rd - Abdullah Sohail (East West University)
School Section-
1st - Nafim- Al Karim (St. Gregory's High School & College)
2nd - Md. Radwan Islam (Ideal School & College)
3rd - Ahmed Mustaqim Tasin (St. Gregory's High School & College).
