Housewife hacked to death in Bagerhat

Marjina Begum (38), wife of one Mohammad AliShaikh of village Fultala-Purbopara under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district was recovered from a fish farm, adjacent to her husband's residence in the early hours of Monday. Some cut injuries were noticed on her neck.
Mohammad Aftab Uddin, Officer-in-charge of Bagerhat Model Sadar PS told, some locals found the dead body floating in the fish farm in the early hours of Monday and informed the police of the matter. Police rushed to the spot, recovered the dead body and sent it to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for autopsy. The O/C added, it is guessed that some miscreants, perhaps, killed the housewife within the night and fell the dead body in the fish farm. Police investigation is going on in this connection.
