People in panic, says Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday said that the people of Bangladesh are living in unknown fear due to misrule of Awami League.
He said it in a statement expressing condolence for the party's Patiya Upazila unit's Vice-President Nurul Haque Talukder's death.
Nurul Haque Talukder was seriously injured on December 30, while attacked by Awami Leaguemen.
Mirza Fakhrul said, the AL retained power snatching voting rights of the countrymen.
"They have snatched vote on December 30 using the party's musclemen and
law enforcers. They attacked BNP men across the country. Nurul Haque also became victim of their attack and died on Friday," said the statement.
The BNP leader accused the government for filing false cases against the opposition leaders and activists countrywide to sustain in power.
