Ill motive of harassing Ahona

Police in a drive arrested the truck driver and his helper from Ashulia  on Saturday for allegedly hit actress Ahona Rahman's private car  by containing the 'ill-motive' of harassing her in the city's Uttara area early Wednesday.
The arrested man are Sumon Mia, 28, the driver of the truck and his assistant 24-year old Rumon, said Uttara West Police Station Officer in- Charge  (OC) Ali Hossain.
After filing the case earlier, police conducted drive in Ashulia's Khejurbagan and Gazirchat areas and nabbed the them early in the morning, the police official said.
He said that a reckless sand-laden truck hit actress Ahona's car on the Road No. 7 under Uttara Sector-7 around 4:40am Wednesday when she along with her cousin Liza Yeasmin was returning home from Old Dhaka.
Following this, Ahona locked into an altercation with the driver and his assistant. At one stage, she got up the door beside the truck driver. And the truck carrying Ahona heading to Sector 12.
Later, the truck's driver stopped it suddenly as local people tried to halt it, forcing Ahona to fall down on the street and leaving her injured.
Later, the actress' cousin Liza filed a case with Uttara West Police Station in this connection.  
Ahona was  undergoing treatment in Uttara Crescent Hospital till filing his report on Saturday evening.
