War wounded freedom fighter Kabir Ahmed, Director, Popular Advertising Ltd. and Dhaka University Alumni breathed his last on Friday at his residence in the city's  Dhanmondi. He was 65.
He left behind wife, two sons, relatives and a host of admirers to mourn his death.
After Namaz-e-Janaza he was buried in his family graveyard in his ancestral home East Bashikpur, Feni on Saturday with guard of honour.
It may be mentioned that he was the younger brother of late M. Tajul Islam, founder Managing Director of Popular Advertising Ltd.
